Return of the Husband

The past few days have been so fabulous! Roy is finished with school, and we have been able to spend all kinds of time together. It's like a breath of fresh air!!!! On Friday we had some of his Ph.D. friends over. It was such fun! We grilled and ate outside and then played some bocce ball and horseshoes. Our back patio looked so nice; Roy had strung white lights all around, and we had some Tiki torches going. It was very pretty. Roy had also cleaned the entire house, so I didn't have any house cleaning to do this weekend! On Friday I received three orders for jewelry and sold two pieces, so Saturday night I was "working," making jewelry. Today Roy and I saw Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. The 2hrs and 20mins went by so fast; I had no idea the movie had lasted that long. Excellent film. I work this week M-TH, but I took off Friday to go to OK for Gregg's graduation from highschool. He is Roy's youngest brother, and the only one of the five kids to get a high school diploma. We will be in OK until Monday; I am off for Memorial Day, too. Then I work T-F, get my hair cut on Sat., and we are headed back home for OK again. We are splitting our trip there with our trip to CO to see our good friends, Cary and Melissa. I can hardly wait! Not only am I excited to see them, but I have never been to CO before, so I am looking forward to the scenery. Well, it is late and time for bed... Don't forget to go to www.freewebs.com/debbeads to see my newest creations. The "necklaces" page has the newest three strand wood necklace.

You're coming to my house! You're coming to my house! (You have to read that in a nanna-nanna-boo-boo type voice...not sure who I'm directing that too exactly... :)) SO excited!

I'm glad things are slowing down for you guys for a little while! Enjoy every moment! :) You're nearly to the end of your countdown. WOO-HOO!! I've heard Colorado babies are the cutest by the way... ;)

No need to bring the air mattress... we have one as well, and you'll be in our entertaining room in our newly finished basement - aside from a few finishing touches that still need to be done... :) You really only need to bring whatever you want for you... maybe bring your swimsuits, because if it's warm enough I'm sure we'll go spend some time at the pool. You may need a light jacket in the evenings if we go out or whatever, but you could always borrow something of mine... Even though it's only been in the 70's and 80's, I've been wearing shorts for weeks... since it's dry here it generally feels warmer by 10 degrees or so than the same temps would in TX. Ummm I don't really know of anything else... oh, our church isn't super dressy...maybe more like Antioch... like our pastor generally wears jeans and a sports coat and he's on the dressier end of our group. Cary usually wears kakhis or jeans and a button down shirt... Let me know if you think of anything specific, but I'm sure that's more than enough info... Can't wait to see you!!!!! :)
