39 weeks

I am officially 39 weeks preggers today! My female parts and all other parts are reminding me of this often! At my appointment last Thursday, my belly was still measuring 36cm, and I had lost another pound. My total weight gain with baby #2???? 25lbs! Hurray! That's 10less than with Warren... which is great since I was still holding on to 10lbs from having Warren. I was still dilated to a 3+, but 95% effaced, and doc said baby was lower. We are inducing on Thursday the 31st. I have to go in at 6am. Until then, I am working Monday and Tuesday, and probably Wednesday morning. That afternoon, we are having a birthday party for Warren at his daycare. My mom and sister are coming into town Tues. night, and we are going to get pedicures on Wednesday! What a great week this will be!!!!!!

38 Weeks on Sunday

I will be 38 weeks on Sunday!!!! Today at my ob/gyn appointment I had lost 1lb, stayed at 36cm, and progressed to 3+cm and 90% effaced. He said cervix and baby down farther than last week. Doc also said there is a good chance I will go on my own, but it's all still guesswork. He did set my induction for 3/31 at 6am. Getting closer...
We got the boys' room pretty much done... below is Warren's bed.

Obviously Grant's bed... still have to hang his quilt.

Painted Grant's letters over the weekend. I love that I'm going to have 2 boys!

37.5 Weeks

I am back to work after a week of spring break, and I must say I feel better being on my feet most of the day than I did at home scrunching my belly while sitting on the floor and playing with Warren or holding him. I also don't each or drink as much while at work, so my tummy isn't as full and feels smaller. My next ob/gyn appt is Friday... we'll see if I've made any progress.

Roy and I have been enjoying some great times with Warren. He is exploring everything from fountains to construction machines to trains. We took him to Lion's Park last weekend since it was open for spring break... he loves that place, esp. the train and boats.
I love, love, love seeing Roy and Warren together! Warren practically worships Roy... and I'm not too sure those feelings don't go two ways. Roy is a wonderful daddy, and I just smile inside when I see them together.
Roy did lots of yard work during spring break, so now Warren has his sand/dirt box to play in. He loves dumping things, esp. dirt!
We had an ENT check up for Warren today, and the doctor removed the ear tube from Warren's right ear because it had already come out but was in his ear. The hole had already healed up, so things look good. He still has the one in his left ear, but the doctor said it will probably come out within the next 3mths.
Our sweet Cleo is causing drama again. We noticed a little bump on her ear last week and thought it was a bite of some kind. It started getting bigger and wasn't going away after about a week, so Roy took her in today and found out it's a cancerous tumor! She is going tomorrow to have it removed and they will look at it and decide if it needs biopsied. If it's malignant then they will likely cut out part of her ear lobe to get rid of all the cells. Worse case is it's agressive and has spread, and we'll have to do what we don't want to do. She is acting fine and is not in any pain, so that's good. Another good thing is she weighs just over 13lbs now! Compared to her 16/18lbs from last year, that's great!
I have been spending lots and lots of time on work... which I have to go do now. Will post again when baby is born!

Recent Pics

Warren has recently gotten into shoveling dirt, raking leaves, and just being outside doing anything that resembles yard work/gardening... I hope that willingness stays through teenagehood!
He has also become quite the "cheese" face when I have my phone. He likes his picture to be taken and says, "cheese!"
Warren is really a daddy's boy! Here are my two men checking out the fountain in Heritage Square, downtown Waco.
Another thing Warren has been into lately is construction vehicles. He loves to watch videos on my phone and will say, "I neeeed truck!" He likes diggers and dozers and dumptrucks... we found one in a parking lot and stopped to let him check it out.
He loves trash trucks so much that he will play with his for long periods of time, just pretending to dump the trash into the truck. Roy even made up a trash truck song for him!
Another thing Warren has recently taken a liking to is ice cream cones!!!! (and notice the "cheeeese" face again!)
Warren really likes bridges, so we went to Indian Springs Park downtown and walked on the bridges and around the park. Here we're checking out a boat sculpture.
A pic with mommy on the bridge
...and with daddy
Parenting is sooooooooooooo much fun!!!!!
